The Day I Tattooed HOOKED on My Skin

It was never just a logo. It was proof that my heart was still capable of loving again. For eleven years, I protected my heart.

It was never just a logo. It was proof that my heart was still capable of loving again.

For eleven years, I protected my heart.

After everything I had been through, loving again felt impossible. It was easier to focus on building a life, raising my daughters, chasing my dreams, and convincing myself that I didn't need love to feel complete.

Then something changed.

For the first time in over a decade, I realized I wasn't afraid anymore. I had opened my heart to someone, not because I needed to, but because I wanted to. Whether that chapter lasted forever or not wasn't the point.

The point was that I had healed.

When I decided to tattoo the HOOKED symbol on my skin, it wasn't because of a company or a brand. It represented something much more personal.

It became a reminder that after eleven years, my heart still believed in love.

That I hadn't become bitter.

That I hadn't let my past define my future.

Every time I look at it, I'm reminded that healing doesn't mean forgetting. It means finding the courage to trust again, to hope again, and to believe that love is still possible.

Sometimes the most meaningful tattoos aren't about where you've been.

They're about who you've become.

For me, the HOOKED symbol will always represent one simple truth:

No matter how broken your heart has been, it's never too late to believe in love again.
